SACS Accreditation

Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky  is accredited by the Commission on Colleges (COC) of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees.

This site serves as the campus focal point for sharing all the pertinent information involving the reaffirmation process and all important documents: the Compliance Certification report and the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).
 
Northern Kentucky University was initially accredited in 1973 and was last reviewed and reaffirmed in 2009.  The reaffirmation review covered the main campus and all extended sites.  Northern Kentucky University's accreditation extends to all programs offered on Northern Kentucky University's main campus as well as those offered at all extended program sites wherever located.  Northern Kentucky University is scheduled to receive its next reaffirmation of accreditation review in 2019.
