EVE Online: Tyrannis 1.0.2 deployment has completed, and we are interested in what you have to tell us about this patch. Please use this thread to provide us with your general feedback on Tyrannis 1.0.2, not to report issues or bugs. A separate thread for issues can be found here. In addition, a guide on how to use the free skill points can be found here. |

Has something changed with the auto pilot system? I make a regular trip every day and never have had to go through low sec. since patch today it plots a different course which does take me through low sec! At first I thought maybe security status changed or something for a solar system, but I plotted my old course manually and did not have to go through low sec at all.
Can someone from CCP confirm if there has been any changes to how autopilot calculates routes?

This has already been reported and replied to in the issues thread. |

I have a question about the SP compensation : It is a good thing, honestly, but why only on the most skilled player ?
I selected a skill to my second character who last a few more than 24 hours, so no training queue :(, but I expected 10 hours of delay to see the restart of the server, not a day.
So I lost 14 hours of training. Wouldn't be a problem with the compensation, but I am screwed as I can't use it on the character who lost time, and the most skilled one don't need it :/ (I have no more skill plan for him).

Sure it looks good... but is it useful? NO! It might as well be a glorified shuttle... I am so disappointed. Guess it will just be a pretty "thing" in the hanger bay... I think I will name it "Albatross" |

The Primae ship is pretty, but I'm not overly impressed with it's capabilities. I must admit however I've flown Transports for years now. I see the Primae being nice for untrained rookies, as they trade some cargo capacity for a little better tanking ability, although I think they sacrifice a little too much capacity. Will these be able to be produced eventually via Blueprints? It would seem uncharacteristic of ORE to give-away free ships, and then not make a blueprint available for purchase. |

OK so we now have this SP pool that was developed before the hardware migration. It had to be developed for a reason other than SP reimbursement from extended downtime(s). What was it's original intended use? |

Maybe, what some would like, to reimburse skill points spend on the Learning skills. OR Equally likely, but less talk about it on the forums, to reimburse those skill points spend on skills that have no functional use, e.g. the Black Market Trading skill. |

Confirming that BPO icons are all messed up. Out of over 1K BPOs, I think I see maybe 10 icons. Most of them are afterburners. Caching issue maybe? The ones I delivered that were finished today were the correct icons. |

I'm astounded that CCP wasted time and money on designing this ship for it to be so useless! It is a glorified shuttle and the only people that may find it useful would be the 1 week old Newbs that haven't bother to train up Industrial ships to lvl 2 yet! It's just another hanger trophy! |

CCP has a bad habit, and that habit is partial development. Their continued pattern over the past several years has been to announce features for a future patch, develop half of them, put the remaining half on 'development backburner' - the dreaded backlog - and then forget about them as soon as a shiny toy distracts them. These features put on the backburner are not random odds and ends, but crucial functions without which the features that did get implemented cannot perform effectively. The dev cycle does not behave like a well-prioritized system designed to triage the more critical functions of the game, but rather the erratic high velocity trajectory of a kitten jacked up on methamphetamine. |

Edited by: Dark Dreadnought on 29/06/2010 22:31:39 Edited by: Dark Dreadnought on 29/06/2010 22:29:31 "The Primae is a repurposed ORE design intended to ease the task of extracting resources from planetbound environments. Initially devised as a deep space salvage vessel for large-scale ore retrieval from destroyed ORE fleets in pirate-occupied areas, its previous incarnation was made all but obsolete by the arrival of capsuleers on the interstellar scene. Realizing that the ship could, with a few minor modifications, be made into an efficient resource harvesting aid, ORE wasted no time in revamping the design"
I would like the deep space salvage vessel variant of this ship, maybe as a T2 ship. with high slots for salvager's and tractor beams and such. with a bonus to range and speed for the beams similar to the orca and a bonus to pay out and speed to salvager. I think this would fill a missing part of industry ships and allow destroyers and such to go back to blowing stuff up. I would pay good isk for one or three.

That sounds like a really good idea to me. I always wanted a T2 salvager based on a Destroyer hull (I favour the catalyst) for the hislots but a deepspace salvage vessel would be a real addition to the ORE portfolio. |

Although I'm usually pretty quick to complain like crazy about CCP, I just want to say thank you for the really beautiful model of the Primae. The ship itself is somewhat useless and I really, really wish that CCP would take time out to rework all the ships models to that standard, but still, it's a beautiful ship, and one, no less, that actually looks like a spaceship probably would, sigh. P.S. Thanks for the extra SPs as well. P.P.S. I'm still not really interested in PI. |

Patch applied without issue but seriously guys did QA take a holiday on this one?
AP Bug - rather fundemental
Primea cargo - cannot hold some of the commodities designed for
BPO Icons - blindingly obvious if you have a hangar of them

Patch so far has worked well for me I think, skill points worked as expected on both my accounts and the Primae was received OK (and it really is a nice looking ship!) my lil PI alts will put them to good use. I have noticed the problem with blueprints displaying the wrong icon and while annoying it's something I can live with temporarily. |
