    On Oct. 12, the U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, David Shear, in cooperation with Quang Nam Province Vice Chairman Dinh Van Thu, launched a U.S. government-funded program to remove unexploded ordnance (UXO) and landmines in Quang Nam province.

    To celebrate the new school year, EducationUSA organized a Photo Contest for Vietnamese students of all ages. The contest received more than 250 entries from college and high school students studying in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Highlands, Mekong Delta provinces and the United States.
