The City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of programs and services for active adults.  There are three dedicated senior centers.  Senior programming and/or nutrition programs are available at 10 other locations.  The Senior Centers enhance the quality of life for persons ages 50+ by providing socialization, recreation, education, information, nutrition, social services and support.

Armory Senior Center features a full kitchen, gift shop, dance hall and stage, computer lab, weight room, pool tables and library.

The Carol West Senior Addition at Udall features multipurpose rooms, lounge area with TV, computer adult learning center and pool tables.


Senior Activity Card

The Tucson Parks and Recreation Department affords Tucson’s adults 50+ the opportunity to enhance their social, physical, and emotional well being through participation in a wide variety of age appropriate activities.  Our Senior Activity Card provides skilled professional staff, quality year round programming, activities and services, special events, field trips, newsletters, educational opportunities, computer access, evidence based health programs and meaningful volunteer opportunities.

    • The Senior Activity Card is eligible for the Discount Program.

Senior Club Program

Senior Clubs held at various Centers include activities such as: card games, board games, crafts, access to exercise equipment and day trips.  Additional fees may apply.  You must have a Senior Activity Card in order to participate.

Senior Nutrition Program
