The networkx-1.1 release had some code that broke compatibility with Python2.4. Those issues have hopefully been resolved in the latest development version (versions later than [1728]) and most of NetworkX should work with Python2.4. Some of the optional packages such as Matplotlib need later versions of Python.

NetworkX-1.1 has been released.

This version has many new features, more documentation and testing (more than 1000 tests), and some bug fixes too.

In preparation for release of version 1.0 we released networkx-1.0rc1 for testing and feedback.

We welcome your feedback and comments on this release candidate and if testing goes well we'll release version 1.0 in about one week.
