Welcome Emma Amuti

Please welcome Emma Amuti, UTFI's new Direcor of Prospect Research & Management. Emma joined the staff on January 3, 2012. Emma was Director of Research & Prospect Management at the George Washington University and has an extensive career in prospect research and related fields at Georgia Tech, the University of Delaware, and Delaware Technical & Community College as well as at GWU.  She is active in the Association of Prospect Researchers for Advancement, the Freelance Prospect Research Association and the International Prospect Research Association.   Emma earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Michigan State and the University of Delaware, respectively.  Emma will be located in 215 UT Conference Center Building, downtown Knoxville.

Vault - Secure File Sharing

Vault (or UT Secure Courier) is a secure file transfer application that allows UTFI employees to easily e-mail files to individuals outside the UT network e.g. vendors, chapter leaders, etc) quickly and securely. For information and tips on how to use Vault click here.

Join.Me - Instant Screen Sharing

We now have an application which will allow the entire University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. to be on the same page, when they’re not in the same room, instantly! Join.me is an application which will allow a presenter to share his/her screen with one or up to 250 viewers, all at the same time. It can be used for troubleshooting between co-workers, for addressing ANDI Help Desk issues, demonstrating new computer applications and/or ANDI enhancements. All UTFI employees have access to this application. It’s extremely simple to use, and the best part is, IT’S FREE! ANDI - Address & Entity Data Integrity
In our continuing efforts to improve data integrity, we implemented several processes that have reduced duplicate addresses, entity records, and undeliverable addresses. The stats are as follows:   Undeliverable Home Addresses: Before: 11,917;  After: 46;   Duplicate Entities: Before: 3,382;  After: 2; Duplicate Addresses on an Entity Record:  Before: 4,625;  After: 10.

eReceipts Saving Money

Since electronic gift receipts were implemented in July 2009, we have successfully emailed over 109, 442 which has accounted for at least $48,154.48 in savings to the University. In addition eReceipts now account for over 66% of all gift receipts sent to our donors.

Summer Student/Faculty Staff Loads Completed

Student Summer Loads have been completed. Total degrees loaded are as follows: UTK-Summer: 1,230; UTC-Summer: 356; UTM-Summer: 178   (Note:  There were no summer graduates for UTHSC).
In addition, Faculty/Staff demo-bio and employment data totals that have been added/updated via our ANDI/IRIS Faculty/Staff interface are as follows:   New Faculty/Staff loaded: 2,183;  Employment rows added/modified: 5,285; Employees that have left/retired from UT: 2,149;  Addresses added/modified: 10,028
