Melanie Ann Pustay became the Director of the Office of Information Policy of the United States Department of Justice in 2007.

Requester Roundtable series focuses on various issues that surround the administration of the FOIA, and provide an opportunity for agency personnel and the requester community to participate in an exchange of ideas with a goal of increasing the understanding of the issues that all parties face when working with the FOIA.
Agency personnel and members of the requester community came together to discuss the interaction between the FOIA and the Privacy Act in the most recent Requester Roundtable meeting.
Newly announced dates for Fiscal Year 2013 training opportunities include dates for popular seminars including “The Freedom of Information Act for Attorneys and Access Professionals” and the “FOIA Litigation Seminar.”
Training seminar highlights the requirements for the preparation and completion of agency Fiscal Year 2012 Annual FOIA Reports and 2013 Chief FOIA Officer Reports.
Guidelines provide information on the preparation and completion of agency 2013 Chief FOIA Officer Reports.
