Runoff from residential landscapes is harming our oceans and impacting our lives. How we landscape can solve a lot of problems with storm water runoff and drainage. Generally reducing pollution of our waterways and oceans.

The City of Oxnard Water Resources Division is aiming to change this run-off problem one garden at a time by offering free Ocean Friendly Gardens™ classes and hands-on workshops to our residents. Each of the workshops will bring you one step closer to installing your own Ocean Friendly Garden™ and conserving, recycling, and reusing water.

By reducing the number of pollutants in our yards and stopping the overwatering that carries pollutants into our waterways, we can help keep our ocean healthy, and the environment healthier.
