Submit an article

We welcome anything law-related, intelligent, well-written, and short (no more than 5,000 words and 50 footnotes). If you have something good, please email it to us.

What we sell

Our main product is the Green Bag, a quarterly journal of short, readable, useful, and sometimes entertaining legal scholarship. To start or renew a subscription, please click here.

What we give away

Books and the like from the Green Bag Press are free for the asking to almost anyone who gives us a satisfactorily completed copy of this form.

Works of scholarly artistry (cards, bobbleheads, etc.) are free but not for the asking. We distribute them arbitrarily and capriciously, with no promises to anyone about what we might make, when we might make it, or who might get it.
