Guido Appenzeller
Co-Founder and CEO, Big Switch Networks
Guido is the Co-Founder and CEO of Big Switch Networks. Before co-founding Big Switch Networks, he was a Consulting Assistant Professor at Stanford University and head of the Clean Slate Lab where he led the research team that developed the OpenFlow v1.0 standard and the reference switch and controller implementations. Guido previously was CTO of Voltage Security, an enterprise software company that he co-founded and grew from zero to profitability and over 1000 Enterprise customers. He was named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum and holds a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University and a MS in Physics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

Amr Awadallah

Amr is Co-Founder and CTO of Cloudera since it was formed in Oct 2008. Before that he was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Accel Partners for about 3-months. Prior to joining Accel he served as Vice President of Product Intelligence Engineering at Yahoo!, and ran one of the very first organizations to use Hadoop for data analysis and business intelligence. Amr joined Yahoo after they acquired his first startup, VivaSmart, in July of 2000. Joe Baguley

Pim Berger, one of the three founders of Schuberg Philis, has over 15 years experience in the field of mission critical outsourcing. In 2000 he joined forces with Gerwin Schuring and Philip Dries to set up the Benelux subsidiary of MFN and went on to become senior vice president for the company’s European region, covering Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. In the years before, Pim held several executive positions at Pink Elephant and PinkRoccade. Prior to Verne Global, Mr. Cantrell acted as VP of Data Centre Technologies at Dupont Fabros Technology. Christian Eychene began his career as research engineer in France Telecom R&D department, where he was active in the Minitel program launch in France. He then worked in the Business division and created the EDI practice. He successively occupied several managing positions within the Orange-France Telecom group, including Managing Director and CEO of several subsidiaries in the Internet or Services business. His last position was VP IT Services Operations at Orange Business Services. He now leads the IT Infrastructure Engineering department for the Group, and as such is in charge of driving the internal IT transformation initiatives around Cloud computing and efficient infrastructure.
