Welcome to the College of Law

Balancing study, real-life experience, and service

Ready to merge your commitment to scholastic endeavors with your commitment to the community? You’re ready for Loyola University New Orleans' College of Law. Choose from civil law and common law curricula, full-time day and part-time evening programs, as well as three joint degree programs. You’ll be taught by a prestigious faculty that frequently receives teaching awards from both professional and academic organizations.

You’ll join a student body where distinguishing yourself in scholarship, research, and service is valued. Your classmates regularly win competition awards—the National Moot Court Team recently advanced to the final four out of 189 teams.

You’ll gain practical, valuable experience through participation with the Loyola Law Review, the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice, the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center, externships, international study abroad programs, and more. It’s a balance that will help you succeed in your career.
