Comedy writer Bonnie Datt once bought a chainmail vest "for clubbing"—a purchase she later came to lament, once she realized that chainmail wasn't particularly slimming. Inspired by this, she now spends her spare time asking famous people to dish about purchases which they initially loved—but ended up regretting, for Buyer's Remorse.

British pop singer Natasha Bedingfield has sold over two million albums and was nominated for a Grammy. She also pops up in a front row or two every Fashion Week, and once sang live on the runway for a Boy Meets Girl fashion show. When we asked if she's ever suggered from Buyer's Remorse, we were curious to see if her answer would pertain to music or fashion. We should have known.
Racked: Can you tell us about a time you've had Buyer's Remorse?
Natasha Bedingfield: Yeah, I like doing vintage shopping, so a lot of times I'll find a piece in a vintage store—and you know you can never take it back—but at that moment, I visualize something. But then I can never find anything to go with it.
Racked: Can you think of a specific item that really frustrated you?
Natasha Bedingfield: Yes, an amazing jacket. It's beautiful, it's lacey, and it's got all this beading on it. But it's a certain length (points to her thigh), and you have to find the right trousers to balance it out. You might see it at some point, but right now it's got a big question mark over it.
