The ideal candidate for the position will have a stellar track record of exceeding sales goals, strong relationships within the NYC digital community, and 3+ years of digital sales or digital media experience. Bonus points if your ideal weekend involves eating your way through the Eater 38, gorging on sample sales, or drooling over floorplans. Salary is competitive. Account Executive (Real Estate)

We are looking for a smart, talented account executive to sell digital advertising to real estate brokers and developers in New York City and around the country. This person will primarily sell our Curbed sites, though there will also be opportunity to sell into Curbed's sister properties, Eater & Racked. Curbed, the company, grew up on real estate advertising, and we've established many good relationships in New York over the years. The ideal candidate for this position will have a roster of their own relationships in this community and be eager to break new ground for us, primarily in New York but also in our other markets (LA, SF, Chicago, DC, to name a few). He or she will have a stellar track record of exceeding sales goals and 3+ years of real estate advertising experience (with a strong preference for digital experience). Salary is competitive. Curbed NY Editor

We're looking for someone with top-notch reporting skills to cover a number of the beats Curbed NY treasures, including architecture, design, neighborhoods and their characters, and urban planning. Now, you don't need to have a core obsession with each of those areas; we'll take someone with deep knowledge and passion in one and the desire to dig deeper in the others. Experience at design and shelter websites or publications is a plus, as is real-world reportorial experience. The job is based in New York City.

Beyond reporting, the job involves a certain amount of daily writing, and the ability to think big. Full-stack Ruby/JS developer

Curbed Network is looking to hire a Ruby and Javascript developer.

At a minimum we're looking for someone who's completed at least one project using Ruby, Javascript, and a data store. We're happy to speak with people at all levels of experience, but if your resume happens to be lightweight, that’s OK. If you're a more accomplished developer, that's great too - there's room in the budget. In either case, it's most important that you be humble, efficient and eager to learn.

At Curbed, you'll be part of a small, nimble team. You'll likely have the opportunity to push code into production in week one, and you'll have input into how your work is architected and designed. Our stack includes stuff like Sinatra, MongoDB, Redis and Nginx, so there's always interesting tech around.
