Introducing Loverly

Welcome to Loverly! I love fashion and entertainment, and I live in New York, so I'll frequently post about things I like, plus occasions where I get away from my computer and spend time in the city, or work on finding a new home.

Sometimes I'll also get more serious. I've climbed corporate ladders, and I also know what it's like to lose the people you love the most. I'll tell you about these things over time, in hope that my experiences might help at least some of you to get through similar situations, or even avoid them.

But first I'll tell you a bit about Loverly. I'm a classic movie buff and Audrey Hepburn is my favorite actress. So I modeled "Liv," our logo in the little black dress, after Ms. Hepburn's famous dresses from "Breakfast At Tiffany's." By coincidence, she also starred in the movie musical "My Fair Lady," which features the song "Wouldn't It Be Loverly." So there you have it!
