The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs has come through with better prices, the traditional Congress week, and some nice perks such as all of our playing rooms (main, strong players, vendors, youth, lectures, simuls, and game reviews) are in the same building. Here’s a map!

Rooms: Most rooms in Summit Village are 4 singles, each with a locking door, and one shared bathroom. The room cost includes a linen set, local phone, and toilet paper. J They’re not air-conditioned, but this is Colorado. You have a fan! Limited: Family suites and rooms with kitchens (with pans, silverware, or plates) will also be available.

Meals: The Lodge dining hall uses real plates and supports omnivores, vegetarians, vegans. The mandatory meal plan with rooms saves about $50 for the week over at the door prices.

FREE: WiFi, parking, laundry machines and sports facility use (included with on-campus room).

University Center: We have the University Center for our playing space. The main playing room is on the second floor. The breakout rooms are on the first and third floors. There is an elevator. The Congress will provide drinks that can be consumed in the main playing room, which will be open from 8am – midnight. There is a bay of vending machines available.

All Night Playing Room: A large dorm lounge will be outfitted with tables and chairs for late, late night games.

Airports: COS (Colorado Springs ~ 23 minutes / 12 miles) or DEN (Denver International Airport ~ 80 minutes / 83 miles) *Times and distances according to streetfinder.com

Saturday Banquet: The Saturday Banquet will be held in the new Event Center, adjacent to the University Center.

Colorado Springs: Located at the base of Pikes Peak, we have a beautiful city. We are located near the Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, US Air Force Academy, Seven Falls, and many other beautiful locations.
