Delhi Summit - 2006

In December 2006, Global Voices authors and editors met to discuss how we can work together to bring more unheard, ignored, or disadvantaged voices into the global online conversation. There was a strong emphasis on language and translation in the meetings, and this led to the creation of our Lingua Translation Project.
On the Delhi Summit website is a map of the locations of all the attendees and the full conference blog containing the thoughts and observations of numerous Summit participants as-it-happened.
