Ease of Configuration
The Hosting.com Remote STM solution is easy to setup and configure allowing for easy system monitoring changes as your application changes. We use a sophisticated browser-based tool to create scripts mimicking a user’s typical interaction with the application. This method tracks and records all click streams including flash and silverlight objects, keystrokes, drags and mouseovers. The interaction scripts are continually tested on your site for availability and performance.
Performance Based Alerts
Performance alerts are configured based your threshold for the application’s response times. Based on your alert configurations, if the script steps cannot be completed, an alert is triggered and a notification is sent directly to you to minimize the time needed to troubleshoot the issue.
Flexibility
You have the ability to disable monitoring or notifications related to your hosted applications – such as scheduled maintenance windows, non-critical managers only receiving alerts during normal business hours, and administrators not receiving alerts during planned downtime.
