More about our mission.
Research
The Research Mission of the Center for Social Concerns at the University of Notre Dame is to identify, analyze, and share the evolving ways that service learning and related educational experiences contribute to college student development and to the efforts of students, faculty, and community constituents toward the creation of a more just and humane world.
Justice Education
Education for justice is both a commitment and theme embedded in courses, programming, and work with faculty of the Center for Social Concerns. The Center sponsors and cosponsors events for the campus and local community that serve to educate and to encourage action on behalf of justice and peace.
Catholic Social Tradition
This section was created to assist students in integrating Catholic social thought with their service experience and actions for justice.
