Elections and Economics

The Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture is happy to announce that it will be hosting a discussion of the economy on Wednesday, October 3rd at 7:30PM in the McCartan Courtroom in the Law School.

The discussion, entitled “Elections and Economics,” will feature four prominent Notre Dame economists discussing the question, “What are the biggest challenges facing our economy, and what is the best way to approach these challenges in light of human dignity and the common good?”

The panel will include include:

  • Tim Fuerst, O’Neill Professor of Economics, University of Notre Dame, and Senior Economic Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland 
  • Nelson Mark, DeCrane Professor of International Economics, University of Notre Dame 
  • Michael Pries, Associate Professor of Economics, University of Notre Dame 
  • Eric Sims, Grace Assistant Professor of Economics, University of Notre Dame, and Faculty Research Fellow, National Bureau of Economic Research 
The event will be moderated by Notre Dame Law School professor Margaret Brinig.

All are welcome.
