You've been meaning to read the book before the first movie in the trilogy releases on December 14–why not start now? During the month of October, we're hosting a community read of The Hobbit. Discuss the book with others online; everyone from first-time readers to die-hard fans to Tolkien scholars will be chiming in. Plus we have tons of extra material to enhance your reading experience, including readings of favorite passages, interviews with experts, and all the latest news from the set of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
