Coffees selected for their intensity are roasted to a deep chestnut color, coaxing smoky and bittersweet flavors from the beans. Those who favor rich, Seattle-style espresso will fall in love with Espresso La Forza.

farmhouse

Certified Organic
spacer farmhouse is based on the idea that coffee, like all food, is best enjoyed when it is at its freshest and in season. Here's how farmhouse works: throughout the year, as coffees come and go according to the seasons, we roast them to underscore their intrinsic deliciousness. And, then we sell the result. Simple as that. *The current version of farmhouse is a single-origin coffee: 100 % Cenfrocafe, Cajamarca, Peru.

Number 46

Certified Organic
In the earliest days of Counter Culture's history, co-founder Fred Houk created what he felt was a delicious European-style coffee blend. Filed away in our recipe book as "No. 46," nearly 15 years later this coffee remains one of our best-selling and most celebrated blends. We still simply call it Number 46.

Rustico Organic

Certified Organic
The miracle of coffee is that it is capable of a range of delicious flavors: brown sugar, toasted nuts, chocolate, stone fruit, even flowers. Often, blends focus on only one or two of these characteristics, opting for simplicity. Rustico embraces the full spectrum of coffee flavor, and is almost kaleidoscopic in its flavor intensity. To create Rustico, we layer intensely delicious organic coffees artfully to create a complex, fully satisfying coffee experience, which expresses itself beautifully in an espresso machine, drip filter, or French press.

Valle del Santuario
Caturra, Bourbon, and Pache varieties
Counter Culture Direct Trade Certified • Certified Organic
Valle del Santuario comes from five small communities comprised of approximately 75 growers from within the Cenfrocafe cooperative’s total of more than 2,200 total members. While we enjoy coffees from the cooperative as a whole, there is something that remains special about our ongoing relationship with this smaller group. This year’s crop does not disappoint, and the producers continue to work harder than ever to bring the quality we have come to expect and love. This lot is rich with notes of chocolate, plum, spice, and vanilla with a smooth, round body. View map.
