Before contacting me, please be aware of the following:

  1. Availability: I receive an incredible amount of emails on a daily basis from this site alone (and I run a number of other websites, including a high traffic community). Ideally, I would like to be able to reply each and every email I receive – and I do value each one of them -, but unfortunately it’s not humanly possible for me to do that. The fact is that I get more email than I alone can handle. So if I don’t reply your message, please don’t take it personally. It’s not that I don’t value or appreciate your questions and/or comments, I honestly do, but replying every single email I get is beyond my capacity at the moment. I’m trying to work on a solution to make this more effective, but in the meantime, I appreciate your understanding.
  2. Connections: I’m trying to put together a list of FAQs to let people help themselves with the most common questions I’m asked. If you’re trying to change the links on top, there’s already an explanation here. Until the FAQ page is ready, if you have any design related questions (not PHP) feel free to contact me. If you have a php/plugin related question, please send it to Adam (click here to go to his contact form), who is kindly helping me provide support for Connections. Be sure to choose the option “Connections related”.
  3. Copyright infringement issues: Recently, I’ve been getting many emails from people who spot copyright infringement on a blog using one of my themes and assume either that I’m the one violating copyright or that I can do something about it. I take copyrights very seriously. You’ll never find me violating copyrights. And to those of you who are unfortunately facing such an issue, I’d like to say the following:
    • I have absolutely no control over the blogs that download and use my themes. There’s nothing I can do, personally, to help you with that – although I can make a suggestion on how to deal with this, as follows:
    • If you’re facing this situation, please try to get in touch with the blog’s owner first. It’s not always the case, but sometimes the person isn’t even aware that s/he is violating copyright and a simple friendly email will solve the problem.
    • If that doesn’t work or if there are no contact details available on the blog in question, you have other options. If the blog is hosted at WordPress.com, you can check their Terms of Service where copyright infringement is covered, along with instructions on how to report it. If the blog’s owner has his/her own domain, run a whois search. If the domain registration is public, you’ll be able to get the owner’s contact details and then you can try to contact him/her directly. Otherwise, follow the IP/DNS the domain is pointed to to find out where it’s hosted and get in touch with the hosting company.
