Education Evolving is a Minnesota- based group of thought leaders in education reform. E|E leaders have been instrumental in innovations such as open enrollment and school choice, the nation's first charter school law, and teachers as owners of professional partnerships, which are responsible and accountable for managing schools.
E|E works to convince those who make and influence policy that America's success depends on creating radically different and better ways for young people to learn and for teachers to work.

Lars Johnson manages E|E's website and new media, and helps with policy research and media/legislative monitoring.
Lars is a graduate of the Minnesota New Country School (a teacher professional partnership school, and one of the nation's first charter schools). As a student at Minnesota New Country School, Lars experienced first-hand the type of education options that E|E advocates. Lars went on to receive a degree in Chemistry from Macalester College.
Lars is an accomplished student of foreign languages, and is passionate about dancing Salsa and Argentine Tango.
