MirrorCatalogs provides a mirrors collection of FTP, web and rsync sites of popular and specialist software for most platforms. This distribution service is provided by software outsourcing company QArea in partnership with software testing company Bughuntress QA Lab are volunteers who support up-to-date mirrors and provide disk space, contributing to easy access to the necessary data around the world.
Mirrors are created to give users faster access to files and reduce the bandwidth of servers. If the mirror is closer to the user geographically, the speed of files downloading increases. If one of the servers is unavailable due to any reason - data can be downloaded from the closest mirror. That is why the creation of mirrors is only for user convenience. We want to participate in this process because our developers actively use this software.
