StormVZ were last featured a little over a month ago, when they were offering a 256MB OpenVZ in Hampshire, UK or New Jersey, USA. On that post, two customers left feedback which were both positive. As we reported earlier this month, in our Community Roundup; StormVZ have since expanded to Dallas. Patrick has also let us know that customers can receive 30% off recurring, if they use the promo code LEB30, on UK SAS and USA SSD plans. However, after reading this thread, it appears they’re closing down USASSD operations.

You can view more monthly plans on their vps page and yearly plans can be found here. They offer a full 5 day money back guarantee and are a registered business in England & Wales. Their Privacy Policy can be viewed here and their Terms of Service can be seen here.

Did you ever contact support? Also I hate to see negative comments so are you able to verify you were existing customer?

Only reason why it’s possible that it was not bootable is that the conf file wasn’t created properly which happens from time to time.

I can back this up. SolusVM seems to be deploying more and more dud OpenVZ containers recently. Either the IP isn’t routed properly or the container just locks up.

Agrees. Hence, we’re looking at creating our own VM management panel. We’ve seen a lot of time where SolusVM would randomly break things and we needed to fix it manually.

90% of those cases are either for long root password or special chars in the root password. It is ridicious. I get atleast 1 not bootable container per day.

Al UK VPS’s are restricted to 100mbps port on a 1gbps node. We’ll checkout the node as it should be at least 7-10mb/s higher speeds

As already mentioned and acknowledged in the ticket.

You signed up to our fair share terms, stormvz.com/terms.html. Your VPS was causing significant disruption to other users on the server and so we suspended it, it was unsuspended after but you no longer wished to keep the VPS. We took immediate action as you affected clients on the node.
