Support the Library

Welcome!

spacer Your generosity is helping the SU Library keep pace with our 21st century students. Meeting their needs is resulting in a revolutionized Library environment. Bird and Carnegie Libraries are now a complex mix of computers, high-tech study rooms, quiet areas, books, a thriving café, and students with smart phones, laptops and ear buds.

Your gifts go directly to help fund critical changes in Library infrastructure, information resources, and services for our students and faculty.

You are an important part of our team and help provide expert Library services and facilities for more than 1.2 million visitors each year. You are instrumental to ensuring that the SU Library is on the leading edge of 21st century libraries .

Thank you for considering a gift that will touch the lives of so many.

Designate your gift to "SU Library"

Donor Spotlight

Mark and Christina Turner P15
In December 2011, the Library received an early holiday gift from first-time donors Mark and Christina Turner, who made a year-end gift through SU's online giving portal. When asked about their gift, Mark replied that they wanted to do something to honor their daughter, an SU freshman who had settled in very well here. In looking at the opportunities to designate their gift, they selected the SU Library. Both Mark and Christina have supported libraries throughout their children's lives and recognize the importance of a vibrant and healthy library as a part of any great academic environment. Mark and Christina designated their significant gift to the Dean's Discretionary Fund, enabling the Library to support a variety of needs of Syracuse University students.
