At one time, I thought I might have a website with Hawaii-related news. 808 is Hawaii's area code. But, a Modem Site is what I wound up publishing, and 808news.com became the home of what is now Modemsite.com. 

808 is the area code for the State of Hawaii (one of a handful of states that have only 1 area code). I may sell the 808news.com and 808hi.com domains soon - contact me if you have an interest.
