We met in Berlin in August of 2001. An Oklahoman via a Virginia woman’s college, I was studying at the Technical University, Henric had just moved to town to start his first job after college. Three years later, under deportation pressure from the German government, we were married in a small civil service in Berlin. The next year, we sanctified our marriage with friends and family from Europe and America, in a small Lutheran church in a tiny coastal town on the Baltic Sea. After six happy years in Berlin, in February of 2007, we left the Fatherland for the Heartland – Austin, Texas. In April of 2009, we added Anabelle to our ranks. Our latest adventure – Seattle 2012…
