Internet in the family
In all, more than 2000 students worldwide participated in this first edition of the festival, working with newspapers in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa. WAN-IFRA provided a teacher’s guide for helping students learn how to do interviews. For 2013, we seek some partners to help continue and expand the adventure.
Hannah Vinter, WAN-IFRA’s Paris-based social media specialist, has provided some examples of what newspapers could do – and certainly should not do – when attempting to engage the young through social media.
