I’m no huge fan of Mr. LaBeouf, but I can’t say that I’d react with any more poise than he does in this video. (BuzzFeed)
- Facebook is still having trouble telling topless pics from moms breastfeeding when banning photos and users. (The Frisky)
- Here’s the story of a programming conference that got criticized for not having any women speakers… so they shut themselves down and blamed it on the bad publicity. (Jezebel)
I bet you know somebody who’d appreciate this shirt this holiday season. (iGeektrooper)
- To protest the lack of Batgirl representation in the New 52, some cosplayers are organizing a special project for NYCC ’13. (Operation Batgirl)
- Square Enix is going to “consider” adding same-sex marriage to their Final Fantasy XVI (the game is already planned to have opposite-sex character marriage). (Massively)
Daniel Nyari‘s illustrated guide to famous weapons of the silver screen is nothing if not comprehensive. But is anything ever comprehensive enough for the nerd world? (Geeks are Sexy)

I’m not seeing Narsil or a Bat’leth, so yeah I’m unsatisfied.
Kinda a putzy statement for SquareEnix to say “we’re going to try out opposite-sex marriage first, and see how it goes, and then we’ll consider same-sex marriage”. Why? Because you couldn’t test them simultaneously because one MUST precede the other? Fem Galka x Male Hume is so much different than Male Galka x Male Hume or Fem Galka x Fem Hume?
I always get disapointed when anything “comprehensive” doesn’t include a sonic screwdiver. There is a pokeball but no sonic screwdriver. *sad whovian*
I am disappointed. They did not include a keyblade. Keyblades are the most awesome weapon ever. I mean, does any other weapon have so many different purposes?
I mean, it’s not as if any game ever has had same-sex marriage in it ever in the history of gaming, certainly not one of the most popular franchises of all time like say for example the Sims or anything OH WAIT
C’mon, Squeenix, it is not that big a deal.
We’ll CONSIDER acknowledging basic human rights but lets start off heteronormative just to be safe
Did they make a Kingdom Hearts movie?
To quote The Doctor, (a whole lot of times) “It’s not a weapon!”
Silver Screen weapons? Many of those only graced small or even tiny screens as they are videogame weapons!
Dang right.
And the Buster Sword only had two materia slots. I’m just sayin’.
Also, it does say they are from the Silver Screen.
Although… that wouldn’t explain the green shell… or the tetris blocks…
I was gonna say :-)
