Parallel Xtractor

HomeProductsParallel Xtractor

Sequential code exists for many legacy embedded platforms.

Historically, sequential code has been recompiled or simply run on higher performance processors in next generation systems. A single shared processing resource creates bottlenecks, not only within the processor,  but also in the memory system and on the busses. The traditional paradigm of increasing application performance through higher frequencies and advanced hardware design within the core has changed

Port applications from sequential to Multi-Core with Parallel Xtractor  (Coming Q2 2013)

Multi-core: Moore’s law lives!

Compute capabilities continue to grow in size and increase in performance, but with a key difference. Today, performance increases are more likely to result from efficient application processing across a multi-core system, rather than higher frequency processing on a single core. Threaded and accelerated applications are becoming the norm.

Amdahl Parallel Xtractor was created to extract the parallelism from sequential code and enable code portability to multi-core systems.
