So I also saw you on What not to Wear and I totally loved everything about you. You are so brave to stand up and talk about the feelings that you are feeling in the inside. spacer I wish you luck and really enjoy reading your blog. Also your pictures are pretty <3

Amanda, I want that blue dress you wore in your reveal! Please, please give me the brand name and where you bought it. It is so flattering on less than perfect bodies.

Dear Dumb Mom,

I am an avid “What Not to Wear” watcher, too. I saw your make-over and had to reach out to you. I am the senior health producer for PIC.tv. We are a non-profit organization that helps low-income, low-literacy audiences access information, resources, etc., using what we call “public-purpose media.” I’d like to share with you our latest series about teen-age pregnancy and the challenges that parenthood would bring to both mom and dad. Here’s the link: www.pic.tv/9ine.

I’d love for you to write a blog about our series, sharing real world advice about pregnancy and parenthood with teens.

If you’re interested in learning more about the series and the work we do, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me to discuss possible synergies.

Take care,
DeNita

Saw you on What Not to Wear. I almost cried watching because I could feel your pain. I can totally relate to the low self-esteem issues, At 5o years old, I still suffer with them. I too, had my kids at a young age and still haven’t accepted the changes in my body, even after all these years!I am so happy that you feel better about yourself, you look great!

I’m watching you on TLC, about half way through the episode and I already love you! You are telling my story. Thank you for having the courage to tell your story.

I just finished watching your story on What Not to Wear. As Amanda said above-you are telling my story-stay at home mom with 3 boys and does NOT like the body left after kids. Thank you for being courageous enough to share your story. It makes me feel not so alone spacer

Dare I also jump on the bandwagon here and say that I ALSO watched you on What Not to Wear this week? LOL

I tend to watch that show and fast forward through the episodes that I can’t really relate to. Your show – not only did I not fast forward, but I actually rewound a few parts!

Now I cannot wait until there is a little bit of spring in the air so I can spiff myself up a bit – you and Stacy and Clinton have inspired me. spacer My youngest child is almost three and there will not be another baby, so it’s time for me to start adding myself back into the “to be taken care of” mix. spacer

Thanks for being a great example on the show – you seem like a super sweet person. spacer

I enjoyed reading your blog and watching your episode of TLC What Not To Wear. You were great! My favorite outfit was the leather jacket, blouse, dark jeans, and boots. It is a wonderful show filled with humor, and compassion. Please check out my blog for your list. It was inspired by my Dude, www.beautyandfire.blogspot.com. Thank you!

Hi,
I saw you on “What-not-to-wear” (you probably get tons of messages saying that, right?!) so I wanted to check it out. The first thought that came thru my head was how brillian the name of your blog was!
Anyways, in 2011 I started my 2 blogs and still work quite hard on them. FeedRight 4 People is starting to grow and I would love if you could take a look! It is a 100% gluten-free food blog with tons of easy recipes and many ways to make veggies taste good for kids.
I am still new to the blogging world, so any piece of advice would be soooo appreciated!
Here are my two blogs, hope you like them!!
feedright4people.com

Love your work and your pictures are beautiful!
Cheers!

Same story. Just saw your ‘WNTW’ episode which led me to your blog and I’m loving it. I’m a MD gal too (although a transplant from CT) and I write my blog for the entertainment (and perceived closeness) of my friends and family far away.

I’m glad your voice is out there speaking for all of us ‘dumb moms’. Thanks for the laughs.
