Public Life was founded in 2004 by managing directors Mike Williams and Suzanne Begley.
Mike Williams, Managing Director
A digital and brand strategist, Mike has worked on civil society projects for more than a decade, first as a client, then agency-side. Mike has delivered work for clients such as Mencap, Department for International Development, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, Nuffield Foundation, Guide Dogs, The Electoral Commission and Drinkaware. He grew up in Zimbabwe and has a Bachelor of Journalism and an MA from Rhodes University, South Africa.
Suzanne Begley, Managing Director
Formerly creative director at Agency.com, Suzanne Begley has over 12 years experience in digital media working for both commercial and social sector clients. Her portfolio includes work for Barclays Bank, T-Mobile, DfES, The Electoral Commission and Mencap. Suzanne has a BA in History from Oxford University and a MA in Hypermedia Studies from the University of Westminster.
Simon Fairway, Senior Project Manager
Simon has seven years experience working with voluntary sector organisations, and four years working in digital media production and project management. His portfolio includes work for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, Bassac, DFID and Capacitybuilders. Simon has a BSc in Physics and Mathematics from Birmingham University and a MA in Digital Media from London Metropolitan University.
Ali Costerton, Senior Project Manager
An experienced project manager in the digital media environment Ali has worked with Nuffield Foundation, The Terrence Higgins Trust, Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Dogs Trust implementing innovative and engaging web campaigns. Ali has a Business Management Degree from the University of Surrey and a Certificate in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Rachel Peck, Account Manager
Rachel has five years of project management experience with a focus on corporate social responsibility. She has produced work for Ford, the John Lewis Partnership, Panasonic and Vodafone. Rachel has a degree in Law from the University of Kent, and has studied accounting and computer science.
Lara Bradley, Art Director
Formerly senior art director at Agency.com, Lara has over 10 years experience creating award-winning digital design for corporate, consumer and voluntary sector clients. Her portfolio includes T-Mobile, Channel 4, ITV, British Airways NCVO, Mencap and Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
Tom Leaver, Office Manager & Account Executive
An experienced office and production manager, Tom ensures the smooth running of the operation and provides customer support on client accounts.
