Featuring contributions from African citizens who are living in communities affected by extreme poverty, ONE will follow their progress to give a better understanding of the day-to-day challenges they face and also to track changes that occur over time.
We want to give these vital voices a platform so we can take their views directly to world leaders, to give the poorest people a chance to tell then what they should be doing to help end extreme poverty and hunger.
The series will feature contributions from people living in the West Mamprusi and Builsa Districts of northern Ghana, part of the Millennium Village Project, farming communities in Kenya featured in Roger Thurow's book The Last Hunger Season, and contributions from young people across the continent working with Restless Development. Over time we hope to bring in different voices from many different perspectives.
