Strategy
Concern Universal is an international development organisation tackling poverty from the grassroots.
Our vision is a world where justice, dignity and respect prevail for all, and our mission is to work in partnership to challenge poverty and inequality. We support practical actions that enable people to improve their lives and shape their own futures.
Our strategy has two key objectives. The first objective is to enable community-led development. We do this through practical work with individuals, communities and partners in 9 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. This includes our work to improve food security, health, respect for rights, and skills and to reduce vulnerability to disasters. Our second organizational objective is to inspire and influence others. We amplify the voices of people living in poverty, enabling them to advocate for a fairer and more environmentally sustainable world.
Our current organizational strategy runs until 2014.
