Your local National Weather Service office is very interested in receiving real-time spotter reports from you. A team of web-savvy National Weather Service employees was put together to better serve your reporting needs.  The result is eSpotter.

The eSpotter system was developed to:

  • Increase timely online spotter reports
  • Increase accuracy of the reports
  • Increase National Weather Service and Spotter communications

The eSpotter system was designed with the following persons in mind:

  • Training spotters
  • Emergency managers

This particular piece of documentation deals directly with the spotter reporting interface. To use this interface, you must have:

  • Computer
  • Internet connection
  • Internet Explorer or Netscape 4.x or greater
  • JavaScript must be turned on

The eSpotter system may work with other browsers, but not every browser has been tested.
