System Rebooting after a couple of Minutes
The last time I encountered this problem it was caused by a bad sector on the hard drive and replacing the hard drive fixed the problem. This time it wasn’t the hard drive and even booting from a DVD presented the same problem. To track the cause of this type of problem once you have eliminated everything except the motherboard, processor and memory would require that you have a second identically configured computer so as to be able to swap the processor and memory from one to the other. Sometimes it is just easier to buy a new computer.

This is such a book with respect to how to use GIMP. Of course it can’t provide the necessary talent needed to know what to create but it does cover how in full detail.
Find out more about what I think of the book The Book of GIMP.

To Index or not to Index
Some indexes make the database faster while others make it slower. It all depends on how frequently the index is used and how often the table is updated.
