Northern's CCNE accredited RN to BSN Program is unique, holistic, and designed for the working nurse.

Are you a registered nurse who is interested in holistic nursing practice?
Learn how to integrate complementary and alternative therapies into your nursing practice.

Northern’s RN to BSN program is a unique and innovative curriculum based on Dr. Barbara Dossey’s Theory of Integral Nursing (2008). Integral Nursing Theory is designed to complement principles of holistic nursing, human caring, and healing. With an integrative-care focus, our program prepares nurses to provide holistic, intentional, relationship-centered care that addresses individual and collective health.

Nurses in Northern’s program are committed to engaging in intentional, caring, reflective practice that involves continuous self-assessment and holistic self-care. Graduates of Northern’s RN to BSN program will use the Theory of Integral Nursing and the American Nurses Association & American Holistic Nurses Association Holistic Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice to provide integral and holistic nursing care in a variety of settings.
