One dreary night back in 2001 I was reading a men’s magazine and stumbled across an article about how to sell porn online. I found it interesting and was enticed by the glittering sales text. I mean, who doesn’t want to make money online? It’s not my fault the first article I read about it was tied to porn! I decided I’d check it out at my first opportunity. So, as soon as I got to work the next morning I fired up the website mentioned in the article and after thinking about it a bit, I joined up to Adult Webmaster School for the princely sum of $140. My fellow cubicle workers were unaware and continued grunting noisily at their keyboards…
The AWS website taught me how to build advertising pages to promote adult affiliate programs and where to submit them, but it just scratched the surface. It took me almost a year of learning the ropes on nights and weekends before I quit my job and went full time slinging porn, and I’ve been doing it ever since.
Yes there is money in it. According to the 2006 Internet Pornography Statistics,
“The pornography industry is larger than the revenues of the top technology companies combined: Microsoft, Google, Amazon, eBay, Yahoo!, Apple, Netflix and EarthLink”
Indeed some lucky people have had the right idea at the right time and made themselves millions. Notice I said lucky, as they’re as rare as lottery winners, even though they do exist. Working online, porn or mainstream, is a job. Just a very flexible job where you are your own boss and look at porn for a living.
Great reading! I got you booked marked.
Question, why so many domains, Is it to post / submit more but I imagine most of your good traffic comes form paid partner accounts? Do you suggest multiple partner accounts for diff domains? e.g. 2 Richard Realm partner acocutns 1 for domain a the other to domain b to post more galleries there etc..?
I use 4 domains to submit tgp galleries and linklist freesites. The others are for landing pages, blogs, etc. that deserves it’s own domain. You do not need multiple partner accounts to submit from multiple domains. I have 1 Richards Realm partner account and I used it to submit from all 4 of my ‘submit’ domains.
Anothe rquestion, using the 4 domains make ssense to get mroe submissions out there, how do you get around the IP tracking on submissions, a lo tof the sites seem to track the IP, won ttha risk blacklising? Or are they cool as long as its a diff domain?
I was thinking about getting 2 more to submit more, I submit 2-3 but its all form 1 domain and the list gets smaller after every submit due to max submision / day.
I usually only submit 1 per domain per day. 4 domains is all I need.
Do teh TGPs allow a domain on the same host, e.g. I have host Gator with 2 domains and I think it woul dshow as teh same IP and when i submit its goin gto be submitting from teh same IP, is this ok with most as long as its a diff domain?
Yes that’s allowed.
at first – really great site! I have question about your earnings. I’m submitter many years. I have a lot of submit accounts – I paid for these account more than $2000/month. I create more than 50 galleries every day and my gross earnings are less than $4000! I submit to the same TGPs like you + more. Where can be my problem, when your expenses are so low and earnings so hight??
At worldsex I have 3 accounts, they listed every my galleries – a lot of traffic, but big ratios… And for example last month was from shemp 0 sales… Crazy. Can you tell me, how much sales (at average) do you have from shemp? And what sponsor you are using for this page?
Thank you very much.
Well with the paid partner accounts, how many are profitable? I drop the ones that are not and keep 6-8 of the good ones who supply most of my traffic. 50 galleries a day seems like a lot of wasted effort. Most of the top TGP sites accept 1 per day or even less. Some accept a little more. Most of the traffic and sales are going to come from the first, second, third gallery submit, and I think any more than 3-5 per day is wasted effort that can be better spent elsewhere. TGP sites that accept unlimited submissions have very little traffic.
Of your 50 submits per day, how many sponsor clicks to you get daily? What is your CTR?
