IFFGD works for better understanding about functional GI and motility disorders in adults and children.

Many of these disorders strike large numbers of people. Others are rare. All are challenging to live with. Some are disabling.

Better care, better treatments, is needed.

The Need for Research Funding

More research about functional GI and motility disorders is needed. IFFGD fights for research funding of these disorders through the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Taking Direct Action

There are many competing demands for research dollars. In order for the digestive diseases community to be heard, we need to help ourselves. IFFGD's Research Awards and Grants support the work of clinicians and scientists searching to find answers for those who suffer from digestive diseases.

Our goal is to raise the funds to expand our research efforts. As more research is done it builds interest, attracts investigators, and moves us closer to the answers we all need.

We need help to do this. We need financial support. We invite you to browse these pages to see what is being done and what needs to be done on behalf of the digestive disease community we serve. We invite your participation.

Thank you!
