Special Interest Group on Artificial Intelligence

The ACM Special Interest Group on Artificial Intelligence (SIGART) aims to promote the principles, techniques and applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and intelligent systems and technology. Our members include academic and industrial researchers, practitioners, software developers, end users, and students. SIGART sponsors or co-sponsors several high-quality conferences related to AI, sponsors recognized awards in AI, and supports important journals for the field. SIGART also provides scholarships to its student members to attend conferences and events. It promotes AI education and publications through various forums and the ACM digital library. A particular important goal is to advance AI as an interdisciplinary area.
