    Hi all,

I've come across this problem some time so I've created a little module for it.
    forge.kayako.com/projects/ticketrecurrencev1

This will add a button in you're navigation bar that allows you to delete you're Recurring Tickets

    Cheers,
    Patrick

    Patrick,

I have installed your Module into my test environment so I can evaluate it, My issue is although it displays my tickets that are scheduled for recurrence the delete function does not seem to work. When I add my ticket number into delete and click the button it throws me back to the dashboard and does not delete the ticket.

I am not great with PHP so have not been able to see what is causing this.

What version of Kayako did you build this module for?

    Patrick,

I also noticed that you have not allowed an uninstall option, which means it does not cleanup the entries in the Settings table, (which caused an errors in reports), so I had to manually remove the entries for RTask from swsettings.

    Hey Drew,

This module was made for some older version of Kayako, haven't had the time to upgrade it yet.
I will try to upgrade it today.

    Cheers,
    Patrick

    Patrick,

Thanks, I did try it on my 4.40.1148 environment and had the same issue.

    Looking forward to the update.

    Hey Drew,

I've updated it a bit, didn't had much time today, I've tested it on my kayako 4.5 version and it's working there.
Please let me know any issues with the mod so that I can change it spacer

    Cheers,
    Patrick

    Patrick,

I have downloaded it and still have the same issue that when I click on delete it just takes me back to the dashboard and dows not delete the ticket I am trying to.

Also I noticed you have moved the location of the config.php file (actually you have 2 within this build, one in staff one in config, but the one in config still has the details for your MySQL database including password.

Are you using something that requires a specific version on PHP? (I am still on 5.3.8 because of an issue with another application on my server that I am waiting on a vendor patch to be able to go to the latest php 5.3)

At the risk of sounding noobish, but still wanting to make a positive contribution: awesome work!
Cant wait to try everything out.
(or, as much as I need to with my business!!)

Thx, and pls keep on tweaking and adding functions!

I meant to comment that it seems that Kayako's version of this looks to be in release4.52 based on this dev.kayako.com/browse/SWIFT-665. I wonder what their implimentation will look like.
