CP HOOD release 7.0 is targetted for Q1 2013.

Variants

Version 7 will support variants of a design.  A variant can be treated as a complete design for checking or document production but most of the data is taken from the master design. Variant specific elements can be whole objects, units such as sketches or ODS items such as operations and constants.

Sandboxes

A sandbox is way of trying out changes to the design. Objects or units can be moved into a sandbox where they can be changed without affecting the originals. Changes to the originals are disallowed but they can still be used to produce documents. If the changes tried in the sandbox are acceptable, they can be moved back into the main design.

Help

The help system is being changed to use HTML which can be viewed using a standard web browser. This will make it easier to navigate through the help pages.

CP HOOD release 6.2 will be available for beta testing by clients from the beginning of May 2011.

STOOD 5.3 is undergoing Beta testing.

Ellidiss Software is a sponsor for the Ada Resource Association which is a non-profit organization chartered to maintain and promote the Ada language.

CP HOOD 6.1 is generally available for clients under a CP HOOD contract. Email info@ellidiss.com if you do not have this release. It is additionally available on Linux.

CP HOOD 6.1 is currently under beta test and is targeted for general rollout in July 2010.

Ellidiss Software will be exhibiting at ERTS 2 in Toulouse on the 19-21 May 2010. The exhibition follows an AADL meeting and the Ellidiss stand will off demonstrations of the AADL technology and ASSERT project technology.
