      Thanks, Kylie! Like Sydney, my poor hands have been washed and Purell-ed ad nauseum, particularly when I was seeing patients. My son likes to tell me my hands look ‘old.’ Aren’t kids sweet?…

    This deserves an OMG.
    I just read “The Panic Virus” and Neil Griffin’s blog series on the Spanish Flu (it was Freshly Pressed about a week ago), and I’ve been thinking there needs to be a mystery/suspense novel about the flu.

    AND HERE IT IS!!!

    Epidemiologists are my heroes.
