  I want to create a plugin user profile have custom fields as age,facebook,avatar..Somebody tell me how to create function 'avatar upload ' in my plugin? I can't do it. Thanks!

  I was expecting it to be present as well. Since it isn't, I'm writing one right now. I currently have the basic function in place and working - users upload images which are resized to an administrator specified dimension. I would say my progress is 70%. I'm attempting to use only Joomla native and Mootools native libraries so the plugin is lightweight.

  Before I submit it to the JED, I'm going to implement several other features, such as:

  require administrator approval (option)
  apply effects to the image (option)
  store original image (option)
  reprocess stored image (original or post-processed)
  crop (option)

  Any other ideas before I finish?
