New Drupal 7 module released - Views Simple Pager
By arpieb on Sunday, April 01, 2012
I just put the finishing touches on the first dev release of a new Views pager module for Drupal 7 + Views 3 named, quite simply, Views Simple Pager. Check it out! Basically, I got sick of building theme_pager() overrides for simple forward/back pagers in my themes, only to lose them when switching themes or having to put tons of conditional logic in the pager code to weed out which Views pages I wanted the revised pager to display on. I recently ran into a design requirement for this kind of pager on the new Autumn Tone website as well as a project I'm working on with Phase2 Technology. So, what does it do? Very little. That's the idea. ;) Actually, it provides a stupid-simple pager with only the previous and next links generated, and the ability to override the labels as well as the presentation order of the pager links. No page counts. No first/last links. No "view all" options. The core Views 3 pagers provide all that fun stuff. Just two simple forward/backward style links to navigate a traditional paged Views list page. ( categories:
