5 Years in Iraq Vigil3/19/08 -Boston Common: Check out this Report, including AFSC's Paul Shannon, Carlos and Mélida Arredondo, Military Families Speak Out, Music from Vietnam Veteran Chuck Williams and proof of how Citizen Rupert's Fox News distorted the event.
We weren't hired for this year's anniversary vigil, even after finding our own sponsor to pay the expenses! ...And it was pathetic!!! A dinky amplifier laid on the ground, maybe twenty people attended, and nobody cared. Feel-good activism that doesn't even feel good.
We had 200 people last year, even in pouring cold rain! Way to go, meek people! You go. You just ignore cultural realities, stand on your principles ...and help keep Halliburton going strong.
Field-Test:
Acoustic Artillery
3/14/09 -Freeman Z was invited to help evalute sound equipment for The Smedey Butler Brigade, a local chapter of the national Veterans for Peace.
"The Smedleys," says Freeman, "need a self-contained, portable PA system for their public events. So we took a prospective unit out for a test drive, to see whether it's right for their needs. There's a lot to consider. ...We're dealing with concepts of acoustics and numbers. But the bottom line is, if it sounds good, it is good!"
"Jeff...You do good work!" -Dr. Howard Zinn | "...Editing was simply brilliant." -Dr. Stephen Soldz |
"I've known (Freeman) for years. ...I don't think he's a nark...." David Rovics |
"A genuis with home depot lights" Award-winning video producer -Paul Payne |
