<p>My cousin sent a text warning our family that we would be eating on her veranda this holiday, prompting us to "dress appropriately."  Her response to my, "Does that mean casual or veranda chic?" question was "veranda warm."  So as I gathering my baked goods and head to cousin Katie's for some Thanksgiving fun, I will be donning my sloughy gray cashmere cowl-neck sweater with a pink and black pendelton-esque pattern detailing the cuffs and collar.  My burgandy skinny jeans and ox blood knee high riding boots make a hard-to-miss fall holiday statement.  </p>
