PyCon India 2010 is the primary Python conference in India. A purely volunteer effort, it is being conducted India for the second time.
The conference will have special tracks for new programmers, for scientists/engineers and for experienced Pythonistas. We welcome speakers of all degress of experience.
This year, we will be having David Goodger as our keynote speaker. David is the original creator of reStructured Text and docutils which is the lightweight markup of choice for Python projects. He is also a very active member of the global Python community and was the chair of the PyCon conference in the US for 2008 and 2009.
We will also have many speakers of note from the Indian community like Prabhu Ramachandran etc.
This will the place to be if you have any interest in the Python language professionally or personally.
