Being an Air Cadet from the West Midlands, I spent many days at the RAF Cosford.  How ever there is another museum in Cambridgeshire at RAF Duxford which would be well worth a look for the War Gaming team and any other persons to visit.  It has the American Air Force museum and an Imperial War Museum solely for land based warfare (lots of tanks).  It has other hangers which contain many different aircraft from around the world and time periods.  A lot of aircraft restorations go on there too with such beauties as the Bristol Beaufighter.  One other point I shall make is that in June it holds the only vintage war plane airshow that I know of in the UK and is always worth going to see.

I do have images but I don't really know how to upload them on to this forum so if anybody is interested then let me know and I shall do so.

I visited a private collection of warplanes and tanks (mostly wrecks) near city where I live last weekend...
you can see it here: www.facebook....=1&l=e4155e7541
I've been there as scout leader, so there are some kids in these pictures, but at least you can see how big these machines were compared to small persons :-)
